On a warm summer day in sunny Southern California, the Dave Rayburn Project brought their unique brand of singer-songwriter rock to the stage at the revered Orange County Fairgrounds for two sets of high-energy goodness. In addition to the road-tested original Rayburn standards, audiences were treated to lead vocal appearances by each member of the band for the very first time as well as a duet with a voice from Rayburn’s musical past. The 2011 festivities were captured by a variety of audio sources ranging from a direct soundboard feed for most tracks, to more rudimentary audience bootleg recordings for others. “Bootleg: Live In O.C.” presents the band’s first-ever multi-source sound matrix mix of live material to be released commercially.
This is the real deal. The DRP. Live, raw, and deep-fried for your pleasure.
